Learning Pool Partners with Rea Sound for Cutting-Edge AV Install in Derry Headquarters
Learning Pool, the leading online training provider based in Derry, has celebrated a year of remarkable growth following a major investment by Marlin Equity Partners. The strategic acquisition valued Learning Pool at approximately Β£150 million and enabled the company to expand its workforce significantly, increasing the number of employees from 260 in mid-2021 to over 402 by the close of the 2021/22 fiscal year.
In the pursuit of advancing its internal and external communication capabilities, Learning Pool recently partnered with Rea Sound, a renowned provider of audiovisual solutions, to implement an innovative AV install at their Derry headquarters. The primary objective was to create a seamless and user-friendly hybrid meeting room solution that would facilitate easy booking and hosting of both virtual and in-person meetings.
To achieve this ambitious goal, Rea Sound employed Kramer AV's state-of-the-art QuickLaunch system. This bespoke solution allowed the design and implementation of a tailored meeting platform, uniquely branded with Learning Pool's company images and colors, delivering a personalised experience for both employees and clients. The system's remarkable security features ensure that all sensitive client and user information is automatically erased once the meeting concludes, safeguarding data privacy and confidentiality.
Among the key components of the AV installation were two Kramer 4K PTZ cameras, offering the flexibility to focus on either the presenter or the audience during meetings. These high-tech cameras can be conveniently controlled over IP or IR, providing fluid and dynamic visual engagement for all participants.
Notably, Rea Sound also integrated the existing audio infrastructure of Learning Pool, seamlessly combining it with cutting-edge technology. In addition, a brand-new Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone was installed, boasting an impressive array of 28 condenser microphones for superior sound capture. By implementing audio exclusion zones within the microphone, Rea Sound ensured that only the desired speaker's voice was picked up, enhancing audio clarity and ensuring a focused and productive meeting environment.
Rea Soundβs technician, Oran McGuckin, expressed his satisfaction with the AV install, saying, "We are thrilled to have partnered with Learning Pool for this transformative project. The enhanced AV capabilities have significantly improved their internal and external communication, empowering them to deliver top-notch training solutions for their clients worldwide."
This successful collaboration between Learning Pool and Rea Sound exemplifies the positive impact of industry partnerships, propelling both companies towards continued growth and innovation. As Learning Pool continues to expand its presence in the online training sector, this new AV setup serves as a testament to their commitment to excellence in delivering cutting-edge solutions for their clients.
