McConnell’s Irish Whiskey Distillery
McConnells Irish Whisky has just launched their state-of-the-art distillery in the heart of North Belfast and is housed within a restored listed building. Offering guided tours that uncover the unique history of a landmark Belfast brand, McConnell’s Irish Whisky, you’ll hear the stories of Belfast’s illustrious distilling past in an iconic setting.
Rea Sound were given the opportunity to design and implement this unique audio visual solution. We focused on the public tour elements throughout the distillery including the café, bar, meeting rooms and the main wing of the gaol. At heart of each tour, guests will get to experience a Pepper’s Ghost, designed and implemented by Rea Sound.
Rea Sound has meticulously fitted the distillery with top-tier Martin Audio Ltd speakers and amplifiers, ensuring a superior tour experience for visitors. Additionally, Ayla interactive touch screens have been seamlessly integrated into the meeting rooms and elements of the tour, enhancing engagement and interaction within the space.
We also designed a custom Audio-Technica tour system that amplifies the tour guide's voice in each area, along with meeting their requirement for ‘hard of hearing’, this is met by a Sennheiser HDE system.
All elements of the audio visual experience is brought together and centrally managed by an ALLEN & HEATH AHM.
Roger Casement GAC
Rea Sound embarked on an innovative partnership with Roger Casement Gaelic Athletic Club (GAC) in the picturesque town of Portglenone, aimed at elevating the visitor experience to new heights. Through their expertise in audiovisual solutions, Rea Sound orchestrated the installation of a cutting-edge announcement PA system, ushering in a new era of immersive engagement during games and events.
At the heart of this transformative upgrade lies the seamless integration of advanced components. The TOA A2240 mixer amp took center stage, accompanying it were the TOA TU651M speakers, meticulously positioned to blanket the venue in crystal-clear sound, ensuring every spectator felt an integral part of the action. The Audio-Technica ATW-1302 digital handheld microphone was used to allow public announcements and interaction with the crowd.
Rea Sound's collaboration with Roger Casement GAC stands as a testament to their commitment to crafting tailor-made audiovisual solutions that blend seamlessly with the client's vision, ultimately enriching the essence of every event they touch.
Jim Baker Stadium
Jim Baker Stadium has undergone a remarkable audio transformation, courtesy of Rea Sound. The stadium now boasts a cutting-edge audio system tailored to different areas.
For the playing pitches, eight Martin Audio CDD8W speakers deliver crystal-clear sound. Inside, multiple Adorn A55W speakers cover the spectator area, bar, and function rooms, enhancing the ambiance. Rea Sound used Martin Audio WB6/8W wall brackets to securely mount the speakers, ensuring stability and flexibility. The audio system is managed by the Allen & Heath QU-PAC/X digital mixer, providing 16 inputs and a user-friendly touchscreen interface. Wireless connectivity is seamless with the TP-Link Wireless Access Point (TPL), ensuring reliable audio transmission. Denon DN500CB media player with CD/USB/Bluetooth functionality enables smooth playback and recording. The ATW-1302 System 10 Pro Handheld System provides clear and distortion-free vocal output for announcements.
