Moira Methodist Church
Rea Sound were asked to help Moira Methodist streamline their AV system. The Church uses multiple spaces and displaces across the building and the original solution was not fit for purpose.
With the addition of some new equipment, the removal of some older equipment, but keeping a core selection, we were able to provide an easy to use, touch screen solution to allow any meeting to be shared across any display or streamed live, all by the tough of a few on screen buttons.
The request, like in most Churches, was simplicity in operation, reliabiltiy in service and flexibilty for the future. Our solution was based upon the powerful Allen & Heath QU series and a custom Kramer Control solution. With the Kramer equipment, we added 5 of our own Full HD PTZ cameras, an Allen & Heath QU-SB and a new 4k Samsung 86” display.
St Saviours Church of Ireland
This Church in The Dobbin just outside Armagh recently requested an upgrade to the visual system in the Church. We were pleased to spend some time with them and listen to their requirements and then providing solutions to meet these needs. A total of 3 displays were carefully installed to provide visual displays for every seat and a new upgraded RS PTZ Camera to enhance the live service recording. We were able to provide a much simpler solution to recording and working with the video files getting ready to upload at a later date. Very pleased with the result in this beautiful Church.
Ballyhenry Presbyterian Church
Rea Sound recently transformed the visual ambiance of Ballyhenry Presbyterian Church in Newtownabbey through a meticulously curated lighting project.
The installation featured five ADJ 5PX Hex Pearl fixtures, renowned for their versatility and captivating lighting effects. These fixtures, with their 12-Watt, 6-IN-1 HEX LEDs and sleek white metal housing, bathed the church in vibrant illumination. Complementing this setup were four ADJ Encore Profile 1000 Color units, infusing the space with 120W LED brilliance, offering 63 colors, variable strobe speeds, and dimming options. Adding depth to the visual landscape, two ADJ UB 12H fixtures, powered by twelve 6-Watt RGBAW+UV HEX LEDs each, achieved uniform and immersive lighting. A central control hub, the QTX DMX Control Desk, boasting a programmable joystick and LED gooseneck light, enabled precision adjustments in low-light conditions.
In summary, Rea Sound's expert lighting fit-out, utilising the ADJ 5PX Pearl, ADJ Encore Profile 1000 Colour, ADJ UB 12H, and QTX DMX Control Desk, redefined the church's visual aura, creating an engaging and captivating environment.
Cregagh Presbyterian Church
Rea Sound upgraded Cregagh Presbyterian Church with advanced technology to improve its audiovisual capabilities seamlessly.
By creating a user-friendly control system, we integrated multiple inputs throughout the building, allowing participation from anywhere using existing equipment.
Our solution included a sophisticated control layout managed via an iPad, powered by the reliable Kramer Control system. We used Kramer SL240C Room Controller, KDS7 AV Encoders, and Decoders, along with Net Gear Pro AV Network Switch, for centralized control and management. A custom program by our technician ensured a smooth user experience.
Additionally, we enhanced the audiovisual environment with a high-quality projector, carefully chosen displays, and upgraded streaming services. This transformation has turned Cregagh Road Presbyterian Church into a modern, technologically advanced space, offering an enriched worship experience to its congregation.
