Previous Completed Venue Projects

A small selection of contracts we have recently completed, ranging from simple straight forward sound systems to fully

digital sound reinforcement systems, lighting, projection and visual contracts.

Theatre at the Mill

Utilising the new Martin Audio WPM array, we were delighted to win this contract to fit out the prestigious venue in Newtownabbey.

The end result is simply stunning, providing great quality sound throughout the auditorium.  The Martin Audio WPM system comprising of two hangs, one left and one right of the stage, each cabinet provides a considerable improvement to the original audio system and allows extra headroom, clarity and quality once lacking.  Infills allow complete coverage across the front of the stage and the balcony areas.  Flexible Subs can be added when required, and simple presets can be recalled from the controller as required for each event.  The Alen & Heath d-Live sits at the heart of the control room, providing simple, powerful and flexible control for every show or event.

A Surround Sound system was also installed to provide an extra level of audience experience.

The MAC - Belfast

One of the largest venues in Belfast, The Belfast MAC opened in April 2012.  With two live theatre spaces, multiple exhibition halls, dance rehearsal and meeting areas this venue is a landmark to the City.

Rea Sound was pleased to be awarded the contract for the complete technical fit-out of the venue comprising Main Stage Audio, Backstage and Foyer Audio, Stage and House Lighting, Facility panels, hardware and loose equipment.  Over the years we have continued to work with the MAC winning multiple tenders to add equipment as the demands of events increased.

Granny Annies

Undoubtedly one of the most intriguing venues we have worked with.

On Townhall street in the centre of Enniskillen you will find Granny Annies, a real talking point for every visitor.  It is like being in your Grannies.  Nik Naks, photos, gardening equipment, records, tableware, upsidedown scenes on the ceiling – a real treat!  Rea Sound was asked to provide a complete audio solution for this unique venue.

During the day the venue is a typical pub, local punters and visitors alike dropping in for coffee, a drink or some pub grub.  At night a live venue, live bands rotate during the evening to keep the place alive.  An outside area overlooking part of Lough Erne and Enniskillen Castle was also covered for audio.

Barrys of Douglas

Started in 1771 Barrys of Douglas is an institution.

A complete audio upgarde to the new Allen & Heath AHM64 Digital Audio Controller and matrix with Martin Audio CDD10, CDD8, CDD6 & CDD5 throughout the venue, including outdoor marine grade (for the Irish Summer!).  Powered by the Martin Audio Ikon IK8 10k 8-Channel 96Khz amplifier.  Peter Collins (Owner) has commented that it looks and sounds superb!
